Greetings!
Over the next few weeks, I wanted to give you some good ideas and reminders on things you can do to stay focused, energized, and goal oriented! Today's question is, "How often do you read?"
When I ask this question, I'd like to be clear on the types of books that you are reading. If you don't read, we'll get you started! If you do, when is the last time you've read a book that inspires you? Educates you(non school related)? Motivates you? Challenges your thinking?
I once heard years ago that we are the sum of the people we talk to and the things that we read. Simply meaning, how we view the world is a direct reflection of the stimulus we chose to surround ourselves with. I believe you would agree, that if we read material that is uplifting and inspiring, we have a greater chance of being inspired. The challenge is, many of us don't put enough time into our Personal Development. We get caught up in the Grind that is life...and that's very easy to do.
My challenge for you this week is to spend some time "working on you!" How you think, feel, and view things. How you view yourself and the way you interact with your world. To do this you will need to find material to read that CHALLENGES your thinking! Look for books that you feel will INSPIRE you and cause you to have self reflection. Books that simply make you THINK!
We all know it's important to excercise our bodies. What we sometimes forget, is we also need to excercise our minds! Read this weeek! Make it a habit that will continually give you great reward!
