Personal Development Series-} Strategies #2

Greetings!

As we continue to talk about Maximizing our efforts to achieve more, I'd like to continue on this week with the idea of Strategies. We've talked about how to recognize your Strategies for Success...now let's discuss strategies that lead to us failing.

It's never fun to focus on the negative things we do, but it is an important excercise to be sure. It allows us to find our weaknesses so we can work at them. The more that we create great habits for success, and eliminate bad habits for failure, we certainly will have a greater chance of reaching our goals!

Time for some intraspection...think of a day when everything irritated you. Things went terrible. It was like a "black cloud" was sitting over your head. It is true, that there are times in our lives when bad things happen to us that are beyond our control. It is equally true, that often times we can be the leader of our own demise.

Take a look at that day. Did you get bad rest the night before? Did you drink a few too many "rootbeers"? Did you get up late? Not eat breakfast? Focus on negative thoughts during your morning shower? If you realize you are having a bad day, you may be able to trace the cause of it to some actions that started your downward slide.

We are all human and capable of mistakes. But, if we work each day to "pay attention" to our strategies, we have a better chance of having more "good days" than bad ones. My encouragement for you this week is to try to REPEAT your Strategies for Success and ELIMINATE your Strategies for Failure! You will definately have a "GOOD" week...I'm sure of it! :)

I hope you gained some benefit from this today!

ALL THE BEST!
Coach
